The lodge is situated only five minutes from Gondola One, which has some luxury heated seats to keep you warm in between skiing sessions. There are also free biscuits and hot chocolate available during the day, in case you need a little energy boost in the afternoon before tackling your next slope.

Family Fun Lionshead Inn

The Lionshead Inn is a two-star hotel perfect for your next family adventure. Whether it is cross-country skiing you like, sledging or tubing, you and your family will be sure to find something to do near this hotel. The Lionshead Inn is located 20 minutes from the center of Vail, and it’s about a five-minute walk from Chaos Canyon, Blue Sky Basin, and Beaver Creek Resort, where you can enjoy the various skiing and snowboarding slopes.

The Sonnenalp hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the ski slopes and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing areas.
