Kauai

Kauai is the most northerly of the islands and possesses a stunning natural beauty. As such, it can be the perfect getaway for romantic breaks with your loved one where you can spend countless hours enjoying one another’s company, sipping elegant cocktails beneath the warm, setting sun. Visitors to Kauai can also enjoy the unforgettable sight of the Waimea Canyon, also known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’.

Oahu

Oahu is where you will find the state capitol and as such might be a good choice for those who like a bit of culture during their holidays. For example, the island is home to museums and memorials recollecting the attack on Pearl Harbour. It is also a good place from which to start an island-hopping adventure in the sun.

Molokai

A significant proportion of Molokai’s population have native Hawaiian ancestry and as such, the island is a great option for budding anthropologists with a keen interest in history. Options for informative days out include a trip to the Kalaupapa National Historical Park, or a visit to the traditional town of Kaunakakai. Just don’t forget your camera!

Lanai

Like Kauai, Lanai is a great choice for those wishing to enjoy a bit of privacy away from the gadding crowds.  Those who enjoy a bit of luxury and pampering will also enjoy a stay on this classy island which has a great choice of top-end hotels.

Maui

Fans of nature and the great outdoors should definitely consider visiting Maui. As well as being home to great beaches and stunning natural scenery, it is also the perfect base from which to enjoy a whale-watching expedition. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a mighty humpback whale leaping acrobatically from the ocean, a sight you’ll be sure never to forget.

Hawaii

Hawaii Island, the Big Island, or simply Hawaii, is the biggest of the islands and as such provides a wide range of things to do. Families might therefore find Hawaii the ideal holiday destination with family-friendly things to do including visiting waterfalls, botanic gardens, and for those adventurous families, perhaps a visit to one of the world’s most active volcanoes in the famous National Park.

So, with so much diversity on offer across the beautiful islands of Hawaii, it really does beg the question, what are you waiting for? Book yourself that well deserved holiday in the hotel of your choice. After all, if you can’t find something to your liking on the islands of Hawaii, you really are just impossible to please!
