Five on a scooter (with the fifth passenger being a baby) has been the most that I’ve seen in Southeast Asia, and I’ve seen that ‘5 on 1’ configuration in both Siem Reap and Hanoi. It’s rare to see those two-stroke motor scooters here in the San Francisco Bay Area, but when I do it always reminds me of being back in Asia; I have to admit, though, that I’ve yet to see a cage of chickens or a trussed pig tied to the back of a scooter here!

Ha ha, I don’t think you will ever see chickens or pigs strapped on a moto in the US. Only in Asia, hey? 🙂
