Indulge in Sumptuous Dining at Top Restaurants

Costa Mesa is home to some of California’s finest restaurants. Whether you are looking for a comfortable environment in which to hold a business meeting, taking your partner out for some fine dining, or grabbing a quick bite to eat on the street, Costa Mesa won’t disappoint. Below is a selection of some of Costa Mesa’s most interesting and varied dining options.

If you would like to sample Peruvian food, try Inka Grill, a Peruvian-style grill serving authentic cuisine and beverages ranging from ceviche to Pisco Sour.

Should you crave some fast food with a twist, head to Umami Burger where you can indulge in gourmet burgers, truffle fries, or tempura onion rings. In Japanese, Umami means “pleasant savory taste,” so that’s exactly what you will get at this unusual eatery.

Being so close to the Mexican border, it would be a crying shame to leave Costa Mesa without trying out some Mexican food. For 40 years, Avila’s El Ranchito has been serving fresh Mexican cuisine, from handmade tortillas to guacomole and sumptious tacos.

If you are vegetarian or vegan, you might enjoy Sea Birds. The vegan food on offer includes BBQ jackfruit sliders and butternut squash enchiladas. The signature dish is beer-battered and fried avocado, cabbage, and onion, accompanied by a spicy sauce on corn tortillas.

Alternatively, what could be better than sitting in the sunshine and sipping on a freshly made mojito? At Habana, you can not only try out various cocktails and sangria, but also taste some authentic Cuban cuisine from empanadas to medianoches.

Expand Your Horizons at Orange County Restaurant Week

If you time your visit to Costa Mesa well, you could even experience the famous Orange County Restaurant Week. For seven years, the Restaurant Week has offered a unique gastronomical experience at reasonable prices.

This annual culinary event features discounted prix fixe menus from 100 of some of the best restaurants in Orange County. Food lovers can dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like. The prix fixemenus cost $10, $15, or $20 per person for lunch, and $20, $30, $40, or $50 per person for dinner. Be sure to make your restaurant reservations in advance though as seats get booked up quickly.

So as you can see, from fine dining to casual bistros and street food, there is something for everyone in this culinary-inclined city. If you’re a food lover, then why not book yourself a hotel in Costa Mesa and visit this ultimate foodie paradise?
